Stephen Curry maintained it's going to take some time for Golden State to develop cohesion.Through the preseason, for sure, and maybe even into the regular season.The Warriors looked in-season sharp at times during a 129-128 overtime victory at the Denver Nuggets on Friday night.

We're beginning to see why Warriors coach Steve Kerr said prior to training camp that he would be comfortable giving playing time to rookie wing Patrick McCaw.The UNLV's latest preseason audition was perhaps his most impressive, scoring 18 points in 27 minutes Friday night to lead the Warriors to a comeback that ended with a 129-128 overtime win over the Nuggets at Pepsi Center in Denver.After draining a 3-pointer to tie the game at 112-112 with 1.1 seconds remaining in regulation, McCaw came back to hit a floater to win the game at the buzzer in OT.

Patrick McCaw might be a rookie in terms of experience, but he certainly doesn't play like one.With the Warriors in need of some clutch shot-making down the stretch, McCaw delivered in a way that was exhilarating and yet somehow totally expected given his level of play, canning both the tying triple to send the game into overtime as well as the game-winning floater at the end of the extra period.Admittedly, McCaw was playing against the very bottom of a frisky Nuggets bench, but to put it bluntly, he looks like an absolute steal by GM Bob Myers from the second round of the draft.
